If you choose to connect your bank account via the optional Lean Tech integration, your data is handled in accordance with Lean Tech's privacy policy. This integration is entirely optional, clearly disclosed, and requires your explicit consent before any data is accessed.
Your data is protected using iOS device encryption and the security mechanisms built into the iOS platform. Expensly supports Face ID and Touch ID authentication to prevent unauthorized access. We recommend keeping your device iOS version up to date.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Expensly ("we", "our", or "us") governing your use of the Expensly mobile application and any related services (collectively, the "App"). By accessing or using the App, you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age and agree to be bound by these Terms.
Expensly is a personal finance tracking tool designed for individuals residing in the UAE and Saudi Arabia. You agree to use the App solely for lawful, personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not:
Expensly is a budgeting and expense tracking tool only. Nothing in the App constitutes financial, investment, tax, accounting, or legal advice. All financial decisions — including spending, saving, and investment choices — are made at your sole discretion and risk. We recommend consulting a qualified financial advisor for personalized financial guidance.
Because Expensly stores data locally on your device, you are solely responsible for the security and integrity of that data. We strongly recommend:

Expensly displays information based on data you enter manually or data parsed from bank SMS messages. We make no warranties regarding the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any information displayed in the App. SMS parsing is provided on a best-efforts basis and may not capture every transaction or format.
All content, design, trademarks, source code, and intellectual property within the Expensly App are owned by or licensed to Expensly and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal purposes only. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without prior written permission.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Expensly and its affiliates, officers, and employees shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including but not limited to loss of data, financial losses, or damages arising from reliance on App data — even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability to you for any claims under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve months preceding the claim.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without cause or notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms. Upon termination, all licenses granted under these Terms will immediately cease.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any dispute arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of the UAE. If you are a consumer in the KSA, applicable mandatory consumer protection laws of Saudi Arabia may also apply.
We may revise these Terms at any time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date on this page. Material changes will be communicated through the App or via email. Your continued use of the App following the posting of revised Terms constitutes your acceptance of those changes.
